Grade 8 boys and girls were separated for their most recent lifeskills lesson. We focused on building positive relationships and respect. We discussed the following issues: gossiping, bullying, hitting, name calling and hormones.
Parents, please help us by talking to your child/children about having respect for all people and being nice to everybody, even those who aren't in their immediate friend circle. Hormones can be a difficult thing to understand and deal with but does not excuse bad behaviour towards others.
Grade 8 are a wonderful year group and I would like all to get on with each other and build on friendships and become closer during this year. Let's build on positive friendships. Be KIND, be NICE, be YOUR BEST.
